Mr.Manjunath Mukkanappa Malagavi - The perfect example of an achiever who became a success story to those who grew up very poor but want to see the other side of the spectrum. His success story also helpsmany to discover how people in the manufacturing industry, or any industry, became successful, and how they, like them, need not start with all the disadvantages in life.

 

Despite all odds in his life, Mr.Manjunath didn't stop from achieving unparalleled success. Born to Mr.Mukkanappa from Kudalsangam District Bijapur and Mrs.Susheelamma Mukkanappa from Nippani. Mr.Manjunathis the first kid amongst the three, born in Solapur, Maharashtra. He did his schooling in the Harihara Government School with part-time work selling daily newspapers and milk on the side while he attended classes. Mr.Manjunath did his Diploma in Engineering in Chikkamangalur. Out of three years, he could be able to complete the first two years of his Diploma in Chikkamangalur and the remaining one years in Davanagere reason being finance. After completing his studies and being an obedient son Mr.Manjunath walked in the footsteps of his father and joined Mysore Kirloskar Ltd in the year 1987 as an Apprenticeship Government training for one year and Management Trainee for the second year. After compilation of training, he got job confirmation and worked in various divisions in Company that got closed in the year 2000. Mr.Manjunath came out of the Company as Deputy Manager with 13 full years of hands-on experience in various divisions like –

 

·         Foundry Maintenance

·         Shift Engineer in Power Plant.6.5MW

·         Planning and Procurement of Electrical and Electronics

·         Import and EPCG Licences

·         New Projects study.

 

While in Kirloskar Mr.Manjunath attended 5-6 trade seminars, 15 + Exhibitions all over India, and a few seminars by Group Companies about Technology up-gradation and cost-cutting chaired by Mr. Sanjay Kirloskar.

 

With the gained and collected experience and knowledge, Mr.Manjunath thrived to use his innovative Engineering idea in the year 2000 and started joint venture business partners with M/s. Saketh Enterprises headed by Mr.Vittal and formed later on M/s. Witman Microtech Pvt Ltd in partnership.

 

Before they became recognized people in India and the World, these entrepreneurs endured hardship and struggle, and Mr.Manjunath and his team show exactly how one can go from humble origins to richest.

 

2000 was the year the manufacturing industry saw budding start-up M/s. Witmen Micro tech though started in partnership within 4 years got converted to a Private Limited Company which showcases the hardship and dedication of Mr.Manjunath.

In 2010 again manufacturing industry witnessed one more indigenously full-fledged start-up from Mr.Manjunath who always thinks his mission in life is not just to survive but to thrive and started M/s.
