Wildcraft is an Indian manufacturing company, who specializes in the manufacturing of outdoor clothing, rucksacks and footwear for travel enthusiasts.        They produce outdoor gear clothing from head to toe. It is one of the leading companies in manufacturing of outdoor clothing and other products for travel and trek lovers.

Wildcraft has its headquarters in Bangalore. In the 1990s Wildcraft was started in a small garage at Jayanagar, Bangalore by Dinesh K.S. an engineer and outdoor enthusiast. During that time winter clothing, footwear & other products used for traveling were very expensive and difficult to buy. Dinesh met with an accident during his travel and thus the idea of wildcraft was born.

Dinesh worked in a National open Leadership school Field instructor in Canada and US, training students in risk management, leadership, and outdoor skills before starting wildcraft. He still spends half of the days in trekking and traveling. Gaurav Dublish and Siddharth Sood joined wildcraft in 2000 part-time. Gurav Dublish is from Meerut and a graduate of Business school. Before joining wildcraft full time, spent 7 years at Blow Plast & Standard Chartered Bank across Sales, product, and Portfolio management across India and the Middle East.

Siddharth Sood is from Shimla and a graduate of Business School. He spent 7+ years at Hewitt Associates and General Electric in Operations & Finance roles across Europe and Asia.

The company was incorporated in 1998, Wildcraft India Pvt. Ltd.Currently, wildcraft has 3.5million customers with annual sales exceeding USD 100million. Currently, the company has 200+ stores in 60+cities and 4000+ stores across India & abroad. Wildcraft has also partnered with online platforms like Flipkart, Myntra, and Amazon for their business online. Wildcraft products are available in the Middle East and South Asian countries.

Wildcraft plays a huge role in manufacturing 90litres technical Rucksacks for military jawans. It produces extended and versatile clothing for both Men and Women like Jackets, Sweat thirst, pullovers, cargo shorts, tracksuits, joggers, shoes, sandals, raincoats, rain pants, rain jackets, and clothing accessories.

Trolleys range from soft, hard, hybrid to Duffle. Packs and Travel Gears like Backpacks, laptop bags, rucksacks, sleeping bags & Tents.

During the Pandemic, Wildcraft introduced a new portfolio to its brand by manufacturing safety products for the people. They developed re-usable PPE kits for medical professionals to safeguard them from deadly viruses. Besides PPE, the company also produced “safety masks” for the general public. The products developed by them are accredited by the Government.

Since the virus is not completely eradicated, the company will go on producing PPE kits, masks, face shields, combat kits and sleeping bags.

In march 2020 the wildcraft employed more than 3700 employees and increased the manufacturing of products. Currently, they have 30,000 employees in Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh.

In 2013 the private equity firm Sequoia Capital invested Rs.70crores in Wildcraft. The operating revenue of Wildcraft is over Rs.500 crores during the financial year ending of march, 2021.
