Early Life and Education

Born to Pruthviraj Betageri and Latha P Betageri, Sumith was instilled with strong joint family values from a young age. Growing up as elder one alongside with his younger sisters & younger Brothers, he was encouraged to pursue education and personal growth. His foundational years at Saint Michael English Medium School, Haveri  and Lion’s English Medium School, Haveri  provided him with a solid academic background. In his early age  he is to go for his Father & Uncles Shop after the school hours & college hours to support their Business. 

With a keen interest in engineering, Sumith pursued a diploma in Civil Engineering from KLE CB Kolli Polytechnic in Haveri with a District 1^st Rank student which lead to Free Government Seat in Engineering. This academic journey was just the beginning; he later advanced to Government Engineering College in Haveri, where he further developed his engineering skills and deepened his knowledge of construction.

Gaining Experience in the Field

After completing his education, Sumith sought practical experience in the construction industry. He spent six months working as a freelancer for a local construction company, where he learned essential project management skills and the value of teamwork. This hands-on experience proved crucial in preparing him for his future entrepreneurial endeavors.

The Birth of Sai Constructions

In 2019, driven by his ambition and insights from his earlier experiences, Sumith founded Sai Constructions in Hubli. What began as a modest venture quickly gained recognition in the construction sector. Under his leadership, the company has successfully completed over 70+ diverse projects, including residential builidng, commercial buildings, farm villas, schools, and public facilities & etc. Each project reflects Sumith's commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Today, Sai Constructions employs over 120 skilled & unskilled workers, which is serving showcasing Sumith’s ability to create job opportunities within his community. His leadership fosters a collaborative and respectful work environment, motivating his team to excel in their roles.<o:p></o:p>

Sumith expanded Sai Constructions works into regions such as Dharwad, Gadag, and Belgaum.<o:p></o:p>

As a primary member of the IOV Register valuer Foundation, he actively participates in initiatives focused on social development and welfare.
