Even today, except business families, everyone says that it is better to get a government job and settle down. But a person left his government job and started a business and now he has successfully built a company worth 5,55,000 crores.

4 decades ago when a young science graduate decided to quit his government job and start a new business, his co-founders also said no. That's tech entrepreneur Narayana Murthy's company co-founder and science alumnus Infosys co-founder and billionaire K Dinesh.

Dinesh completed his Master in Science from Bangalore University. He secured a respectable job in a new government-run power plant in Bangalore city. But a newspaper advertisement prompted him to resign and travel to Mumbai and face the ordeal as co-founder of Narayanamurthy.

Narayanamurthy had called Dinesh that same evening, impatient to know whether he had passed the exam. But Murthy was also curious as to why Dinesh was taking a risk and leaving the comfort of his public sector job. But his reply was, Sir, I want to learn new technology, I want to learn UI/UX.

Who is Dinesh K
