About the Board of Directors, There are 3 Board Members currently overlooking the hospital administration and growth, Gangadhar Malappa, Chief Executive Director; Dr. Sujith Kumar and Dr. Sunil Kumar are the Medical Directors.

About Gangadhar Mallappa, He was born in Badubanahally, Coorg District, He did his schooling & Pre University in the Sringeri town of Chikmagalur. Gangadhar Mallappa is an old-schooler in more ways than one, He is a Civil engineer from BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore. His passion lies in mentoring and encouraging start-up ventures. Gangadhar Mallappa is the recipient of the Iconic India 2021 Awards- recognition for his performance in scaling the Hospital Administration. His biggest strength lies in building an organization, increasing productivity, planning financial strategies, this is reflected in Janapriya Hospitals.

 

We were keen to learn more about New Janapriya Hospitals from their very own board of directors, Gangadhar Mallappa, He patiently proceeded  “A value-added service to society & humanity never goes unnoticed amongst the crowd. Public Health has always been the priority for me and the other board members. Having to run a hospital has been very challenging, ambitious and knowing that we have a well-built establishment, a professional group of personnel is something we are proud of and we are constantly working towards betterment on a day to day basis.”

Gangadhar Mallappa continues “Private and local public health departments across the country have endured so much during the pandemic outbreak and to see us as a team make it through all of that and still stand is the biggest achievement. During the toughest of days brings forward the toughness in us, making us stronger and that is important to make any team a great one, This is what makes or breaks an organization”

 

Dr. Sujith Kumar is an accomplished Medical Professional, He was equally responsible for setting up a comprehensive 24/7 Medical Department backed by a team of a dedicated team of doctors, nursing n a paramedical team. He was the key to setting Janapriya Hospital with the most Advanced Tertiary Care Facility. He has catered to more than 2500 surgeries spreading across all super specialities, over 1lakh OPD patients and 30000 in patients over the last 3yrs. He is instrumental in amalgamating technology with healthcare.

Dr. Sunil Kumar said “A solution is not a solution unless it is affordable. For us, Patients are our priority and we go the extra mile to satisfy them. It is not just service that matters but the quality of service, that is more important, that explains our logo “service with a smile” as our motto” Dr Sunil Kumar is one of the Board of Directors and is also a practising Anaesthesiology. Dr Sunil Kumar has been a key contributor to Janapriya Hospital's growth and success.

 

During the time of widespread staff defections, burnout, firings, unpredictability, Janapriya Hospitals came out as a survivor; During the pandemic, while other hospitals did struggle with bad press and lack of beds, Janapriya Hospitals had the lowest mortality rates due to covid, both in the first wave and second wave. They have one of the best turnaround time to manage and increase hospital efficiency. Janapriya Hospitals are NABH accredited and this proves that the organization is committed to quality care and is a healthcare unit that is at par with the global international standards.
