Venkatachala, the proprietor of Bharath Technologies, has been a resident of Bangalore since 1995. Throughout his journey, he has encountered various ups and downs, including unsuccessful partnerships in previous business ventures.

In 2006, he embarked on a new path and established Bharath Technologies, which ultimately became a resounding success. Venkatachala's life story is a testament to the power of persistence and hard work.

Reflecting on his life, Venkatachala firmly believes, "Persistence is the biggest talent." He has always embraced the principle that hard work triumphs over talent when talent fails to put in the effort. This philosophy has guided him throughout his entire life.

His working journey began in a small village when he was just sixteen years old. Venkatachala started working in a machine shop within the same industry, shouldering the responsibility of being the breadwinner for his family.

Later when pursuing his studies in Mechanical Engineering in Tumkur, he discovered his aspirations to establish his own business. Lacking experience, he shifted his focus to Bengaluru and took up a job as an operator. Life was challenging, but his determination never wavered.

In 2001, Venkatachala took his first step toward entrepreneurship by partnering with a colleague to start a toolroom workshop. However, this endeavour came crashing down even before it had a chance to flourish due to irreconcilable differences with his partner.

Undeterred by this setback, he made a second attempt in 2003 to establish a tool room workshop with a new partner, only to face a similar fate. He was devastated, feeling as though he had lost everything without any semblance of success. He says that a masterpiece requires more than a few strikes to be sculpted.

Nevertheless, driven by his unyielding spirit and unwavering determination, Venkatachala embarked on his third and final venture, "Bharath Technologies," in 2006. To his surprise and through sheer dedication, fortune smiled upon him.

What began with a single machine and three workers soon grew into a thriving enterprise with over 30 employees and 15+ machines. They also added a sister company called "Architech" in 2019. Architech, much like Bharath Technologies, is also a tool room workshop.

At Bharath Technologies and Architech, they manufacture critical components for Nuclear Power Plants, CNC machines, and stone-crushing machines. The components they produce play a pivotal role in these industries, and they have been utilized in establishments such as the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant, Rajasthan Atomic Power Station, Kaiga Nuclear Power Plant, and two other Nuclear plants as well.

Looking toward the future, Venkatachala is determined to steer Bharath Technologies toward more technologically advanced production methods. Currently, their operations heavily rely on manual labour, but he envisions integrating newer technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Venkatachala owes a great deal of his success to the unwavering support of his mother and his wife. His mother provided him with constant moral support throughout his life. His wife, a government employee, played a crucial role in securing funds for loans. Banks were more willing to lend money to her, which significantly aided the growth of his business.

The spark that ignited within him decades ago has finally transformed into reality. As the saying goes, "Never give up, for that is just the time when the tides turn." When he reflects on his journey, everything feels surreal. Would he do anything differently? He doesn't believe so.

Venkatachala his success to persistent effort and unwavering dreams. Bharath Technologies is the product of persistent hard work from Venkatachala. Even at the age of 55, he continues to dream and asks why can't others.
