Sandesh N.U, S/O Umesh N C lives in Kamakshipalya, Bangalore, and has completed his B.E. degree from Sri Jaya Chamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) MYSORE, M.Tech from Govt. Engineering College, Hassan & is pursuing PhD from BMS College of Engineering.

He has a total of 13 years of teaching experience, including 8 years of experience teaching at engineering colleges such as BMSCE. During his teaching career, he has published technical papers in journals and conferences and has a patent approved by the Indian patent office. He was responsible for organizing faculty development programs and workshops and also played a key role in setting up various labs at the college level. He has received recognition for his unique and well-structured engineering projects.

Since his days in college, he has been providing free tuition, which all started when he cleared the doubts of a neighbor’s children and his excellent teaching abilities spread through word-of-mouth among their mothers. This led to an increasing number of students seeking his guidance. His father would often scold him, questioning why he was providing top-quality classes for minimal or no fee. However, Sandesh persisted with his coaching, as he believes that not everything has to be done for money.

“During my civil engineering days, we learned that a strong foundation leads to a strong building. Similarly, kids require a solid foundation with their basic education, which is why I have established Chaithra Sandesh Coaching(CSC)” – Sandesh N.U.

This led to him establishing Chaithra Sandesh Education Trust in 2019 to train students from kindergarten to tenth standard (SSLC), PUC, and Diploma, charging an extremely affordable and reasonable ₹500-1000 per student, which is half the average price of the coaching industry. The institute hosts students for two sessions: the morning batch (5:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.) and the evening batch (4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.). The students are well-taught and trained with the latest technology and software like projectors and PPTs, providing a surreal visual and audio experience for the students as they absorb every bit of information.

As per recent studies, children's brains tend to absorb and retain information in more ways compared to adult brains. To take advantage of this, Sandesh and his team have developed highly efficient codes that compress large amounts of information into smaller, manageable codes. These codes are then imparted to students, who memorize them to the extent that they can even recall the complete answer even when they are drowsy or sleepy.

The CSC team also offers specialized training for students preparing for competitive exams such as K-CET and Math Olympiads. These training programs are designed to help students develop a sharper mind and retain advanced information easily. The programs combine various techniques such as visual and interactive learning, problem-solving, and critical thinking to help students understand complex concepts more thoroughly.

Sandesh and his team's approach to teaching and training students is holistic and focuses on developing their cognitive abilities to the fullest. By utilizing the unique capabilities of a child's brain, they ensure that students achieve their full academic potential and excel in their careers.

Students are also familiarized with the native culture, with Sandesh ensuring they adorn appropriate attires, pray to God every day, and follow the traditions that keep the spirit of Bharat alive. Traditional music and dance forms are also being taught with India’s festivals like Deepavali, Saraswati Pooja, and Shivaratri being celebrated every year. The institute also organizes cultural fests and competitions like the Lord Ganesh clay modeling contest, which has been attended by even an ex-deputy mayor, state representatives, and ex-minister and present MLA of Mahalakshmi Layout, Sri. K Gopalaiah, who also visited CSC appreciated the institution’s hard work.

Sandesh has been felicitated several times with awards like the Dr. S Radhakrishna Best Teacher National Award – 2023 from Karnataka University and Chetana Foundation, Dharwad, Dr. S Radhakrishna National Award from Vivek Chetana Charitable Trust, and IIB Pride of Karnataka Award – 2024 for his remarkable dedication in the field of education. He shall be also receiving the ‘ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಸುವರ್ಣಕನ್ನಡಿಗ’ (Golden Pride of Karnataka) on 26th of February, 2024. Sandesh is an active member of various NGOs and also works as a civil engineer. He is an active participant at Vishwa Hindu Parishad and a Trustee at SGECT where he provides social services to the poor and downtrodden. He utilizes his experience and knowledge to create marvelous structures, one of which is a swimming pool that he is involved in execution. Sandesh even invited his close friend Vashista Simha, a noted Sandalwood actor and singer, to inaugurate the pool. He credits his wife as a solid supporter, who had sacrificed her lucrative IT career to contribute to the tuition’s upliftment.

Chaithra Sandesh Coaching creates educational materials independently and aims to expand them. They regularly update the materials to ensure that their students are well-equipped with the knowledge needed to gain admission into top Indian schools such as Sainik School and Navodaya. The establishment, which is of average size, currently provides training to more than 250 students. It has sufficient space, with three rooms on each of its three floors, to comfortably accommodate them. The institute offers affordable fees, which is a significant factor in motivating financially disadvantaged parents to send their children to study for a brighter future. Sandesh prioritizes providing education over making money, and his focus is on ensuring that all students, regardless of their financial background, are well-prepared to compete with children from affluent families.
