Y.N.Sharath Bharadwaj and his partner Sham Sundar are the successful business entrepreneur’s in Bangalore.

Y.N.Sharath Bharadwaj perseverance and passion to do something on his own made him start a business and then got interested in the further development of the electroplating process, including metallic and organic surface treatments for the automotive, electronic, medical, home appliance, industrial & commercial industries.

Y.N.Sharath Bharadwaj started his company Bright surface finishers which was established in the year 2013 with an investment of 15lakhs with 4 workers. Now their annual turnover is 3 crore . Now there are 40 Employees working in their company.

Bright surface finishers is  a small-scale industry that was established with the concern and the main object to provide Bright surface finishing for precision components.

The company is undertaking job works like electroless nickel, nickel, zinc plating for heavy components up to 3-ton capacity and have succeeded in catering the better plating services to leading MNC companies like MICO BOSCH, and TITAN.

Bright surface finishers also provide various types of weather-friendly surface treatments for an entire range of iron or steel, solid products, sheet metals, manufacturing industries, earth moving equipments, defense products, wheels and axles, automobile industries, etc., The Company is able to meet the specific requirements of the customers by giving quality services on time at reasonable price.

Bright surface finishers provide quality service of phosphating, anodizing, stainless steel passivation, tin plating, nickel plating, copper plating, zinc plating, alkaline noncyanide zinc plating, and electroless nickel in Bangalore, India.

PHOSPHATING:-

Iron phosphate increases paint adherence and impact resistance along with improved flexibility. A treated metal surface has the ability to stop the progress of oxidation underneath the paint when damaged by an external impact.

ANODIZING:-

Anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts. Anodizing increases corrosion resistance and provides better adhesion for paint primers and glues than doe’s bare metal.

Anodic films can also be used for a number of cosmetic effects, either with a thick porous coating that can absorb dyes or with thin transparent coatings that adopts interference effects to reflected light.

Anodizing is also used to prevent the galling of threaded components and to make dielectric films for electrolytic capacitors.

Stainless Steel Passivation:-

Passivation is a critical step in maximizing the essential corrosion resistance of parts and components machined from stainless steel. Passivation is not a scale removal treatment, nor is it like a coat of paint. Passivation provides a protective oxide film on the surface of the stainless steel. This invisible film is considered to be extremely thin, less than 0.0000001 inches thick, which is about 1/100,000 the thickness of human hair.

A clean, freshly machined, polished, or pickled stainless steel part automatically acquire this oxide film from exposure to oxygen in the atmosphere. Under ideal conditions, this protective oxide film completely covers all surfaces of the part. However, contaminants such as shop dirt or particles of iron from cutting tools may be transferred to the surface of the stainless steel parts during machining or transporting. These foreign particles can reduce the effectiveness of the protective film. During the machining process, a microscopic amount of free iron may be worn off the cutting tool and transferred to the surface of the stainless steel part.

TIN PLATING:-

Tin is a soft, ductile, silvery-white metal that is not easily oxidized in air. It has good conductivity and corrosion resistance while enhancing the solderability of substrates that are not otherwise soldered to. Tin is generally considered non-toxic and non-carcinogenic and as such its use is generally approved for food contact applications.

Bright tin and matte (solderable) tin. Bright tin has a high degree of luster.

It is preferred for electrical contact applications such as bus bars, terminals and switching components that are not soldered to.

When tin electrode deposits with copper plating or nickel plating to enhance solderability and improve the durability of the tin deposit in high-temperature applications.

NICKEL PLATING:-

For applications requiring a bright or lustrous appearance, bright nickel plating should be utilized. Bright nickel systems have organic additives that refine the grain structure of the nickel and deposit with a self-leveling effect to enhance luster. However, these additives can impair the sloderability or brazing of the nickel.

Since it is an electrolytic process nickel will have a very bright reflective shine, Nickel is a silvery white metal with a slight golden or yellow hue.

A satin appearance or a full dull matte luster. It is a reactive element. Two different methods of nickel plating are

Type 1 DULL

Type 2 BRIGHTENED Deposits

COPPER PLATING:-

Copper is commonly used as on under plating to enhance adhesion of deposits, improve electrical properties, and impair migration of alloying elements into the final plated deposit or to improve corrosion resistance of the overall deposit. As a final deposit, copper plating services are used for enhancing the brazing, thermal or electrical conductivity of substrate materials, as a high temperature lubricant, copper can be plated matte to bright and with a wide range of deposits hardness and ductility.

Copper is a soft, ductile, lustrous metal with a pink hue that exhibits very high thermal and electrical conductivity. Pure copper is very soft malleable but can have considerable strength when alloyed with elements such as beryllium, chromium or tellurium. Most commonly copper is alloyed with zinc to form brass or with tin to form bronze alloys.

The non-cyanide alkaline copper plating and high speed acid copper plating services is used for a wide range of engineering applications. There company has precision barrel, and vat facilities.

Alkaline Non Cyanide Zinc Plating:-

Alkaline non cyanide baths are a logical development in the effort to produce a relatively nontoxic, cyanide-free zinc electrolyte.

ZINC PLATING:-

Zinc is often preferred for coating iron and steel parts when protection from either atmospheric or indoor corrosion is the primary objective.

Given a chromate conversion coating offers better corrosion protection at much lower cost.

They have facility of barrel & vat plating.

As per ROHS norms all type of passivations are available.

Automation line of VAT& BARREL is available.

ELECTROLESS NICKEL:-

Electro less nickel is a nickel – phosphorous alloy deposited by a chemical reaction from hypo phosphate on a catalytic substrate without the application of external current .Since there is no applied current during deposition, electroless nickel deposits are free from the common non uniformity of traditional electrolytic deposits and can cover even extremely complex geometrics with excellent uniformity.

Hence it’s a unique coating that does not require an external source of electrons for deposition as in electrolytic plating.

Any portion of a part that is equally whetted by the electro less nickel solution will plate uniformly including blind holes and the inner diameters of tubing or fittings.

The code posited phosphorous in the deposit increases lubricity over.

Nickel plating. In addition a post plate baking at certain temperatures can transition electro less nickel deposits and also increasing the hardness.

Medium phosphorous electroless nickel (6-9% P, type IV): semi-bright to bright appearance, magnetic, good solder ability and moderate corrosion resistance. Rc58-62 (as plated), 66-70 (with heat treatment).

Under plating with copper plating or electrolytic nickel plating is available to provide multi-layer duplex systems to enhance corrosion performance.
