Pizza is a dish that everyone enjoys. Particularly if it's a thin-crust Italian pizza made by hand and cooked in a brick oven. Pizza has a long history dating back to history, and it has been subjected to several experiments over the last three centuries all across the world.

The Risalo Group, situated in Bangalore, India, owns and operates Risalo Pizzeria. Risalo Pizzeria is a proud Indian pizza company and one of the area's most popular pizzerias. He chose to pursue his ambition of owning an Italian restaurant, Risalo Pizzeria, titled after his loving grandmother, Late Smt. Risalo Devi, in early 2018.

Growing up as a middle-class first-generation, who had never tasted a pizza before the age of 24, had a difficult start. Initial difficulties were a lack of investment, a lack of mentorship, limited resources, and difficult licencing procedures, which he overcame with the help of a local acquaintance who helped him find a derelict house in AECS Layout.

Friends and associates contributed used ovens, furnishings, dishes, artwork and innovative designs, as well as moral support, to spark the oven fire on March 10, 2018.
