Reliance Retail's JioMart has chosen Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its official brand ambassador. Furthermore, JioMart has rebranded its upcoming festive campaign as "JioUtsav, Celebrations Of India," slated to kick off on October 8.

The JioMart Utsav campaign aims to highlight Dhoni's perspective on providing numerous reasons for the nation to celebrate. Sandeep Varaganti, the CEO of JioMart, expressed, "We discovered a perfect match in MS Dhoni as our brand ambassador, given his persona embodies trust, reliability, and assurance, much like JioMart. Our new campaign is all about celebrating life and its special moments with our loved ones, with 'shopping' being a vital component of this celebration. Notably, non-metro regions presently contribute to about 60 percent of our total sales, indicating steady growth and a true testament to our efforts in democratizing digital retail."

Dhoni himself shared his enthusiasm, stating, "I deeply resonate with the values upheld by JioMart, which, as a homegrown e-commerce brand, is driven by a mission to support the digital retail revolution in India. India is renowned for its vibrant culture, people, and festivals, and JioMart's JioUtsav campaign pays tribute to India's celebrations and its people. I am thrilled to join forces with JioMart and be a part of the shopping journey of millions of Indians."

As part of this partnership, the former Indian cricket captain will feature prominently in a 45-second promotional film promoting JioMart.

Additionally, during the campaign shoot, Varaganti presented Dhoni with a Madhubani painting created by Ambika Devi, an award-winning artisan from Bihar. This gesture underscores JioMart's commitment not only to providing top-quality products and an exceptional shopping experience to customers but also to facilitating the business endeavors of countless artisans and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMBs). Currently, JioMart collaborates with over 1000 artisans, offering a diverse range of 1.5 lakh unique products.
