Ubuntu Consortium is a consortium of Women Entrepreneurs Association, a platform to bring all Women Entrepreneur organizations under one umbrella to support their business growth, thus contributing to the nation's economy. What began as an informal WhatsApp group in 2015 has later registered as an NGO on 8th March 2019.

UBUNTU Consortium was formed under the able Presidentship of Mrs. Ratnaprabha IAS (Rtd), (Former Chief Secretary Govt of Karnataka). UBUNTU’s 7 other Founding members (individuals), who have vast experience in entrepreneurship, running successful business ventures & heading various Industry Associations, devote their valuable time to the vision of the organization purely voluntarily. Ubuntu Consortium is proud to have 42 associations representing  10 states of the country that accounts for more than 21,000 thousand women entrepreneurs. Ubuntu’s Association members are Women Entrepreneur organizations from across INDIA in the field of Trade & Industry.   

UBUNTU Consortium is a not-for-profit organization, an NGO registered under the Societies Act. Ubuntu Consortium desires that the ecosystem adopt women-friendly policies & enhance and strengthen the associations by Business networking and helping them in facilitating Trade opportunities at the global level.

UBUNTU Consortium members are in the following sectors like

Handicrafts

Electronics n electrical

Software n IT allied

Ubuntu Consortium is very eager to explore opportunities like networking, B2B opportunities, digital marketing & international trade fairs & Exhibition.

Ubuntu Consortium is joining hands with Honorary Consulate of Cambodia Bengaluru & taking around 53 across India out of which 25 are from Karnataka delegates from 25th Aug to 29th at Seim Reil, Cambodia. Smt. Ratna Prabha, Founder President is leading the delegation of Ubuntu Consortium.

With over 60 percent of women in Entrepreneurial & leadership positions in Cambodia, the women from India can engage and learn from the success stories of Cambodia.

Women in the delegation can interact with 75 plus other organisations to grow their network.

The delegates participating will be internationally recognised for their work.

Panel discussions, buyer-seller meets, B2B networking event will be organized during the three days.

Exploring business opportunitiesfor mutual benefit.

The women would get the opportunity to experience the beauty of Cambodia including the World Heritage site and the world’s largest temple complex- Angkor Wat Temple.
