Mr. Harold Arun Samuel – Chairman & Managing Director, a man behind M/s. Wings Brand Activations is a pioneer in Marketing and Brand Building Agency in India and World. Mr. Samuel started his career at a very young age, 17, as a traveling salesman in other words door-to-door salesperson. In the year 1984 M/s. Arrow Promotion, a sales promotion company, along with partnership got started by Mr. Samuel as his first venture. Mr. Samuel’s strategy bought him TGL Quick Foods as his first client followed by TATA Oil Mills and TATA Tea. Between 1984 and 1994 Mr. Samuel acquired skills, knowledge, and strategy for the high fly.

During the year 1994, a little new bud of Wings got sprouted on the shoulders of a born achiever which later made him fly all over the world.Mr. Samuel’s solo journey started having M/s. Wings as his partner, based it on hard research and analysis, typically Mr. Samuel reviewed the industry and put himself in customer's shoes to see what he could do better. With a couple of hired hands, Mr. Samuel started a new flight in a small basement in Bangalore with three people. Knowing that strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle Mr. Samuel used both as his two wings.

Brand Activation, Wings Bizpro, Infrastructure, Digital, Events, Arenas, Wings School of Music are the feathers Mr. Samuel stitched to his Wings, his vision for the company led to the birth of new divisions.  Though Mr. Samuel’s sky was small at the start, his Strategy, Smartness, Skill, Passion, Integrity, and Hard Work made his latter days were very significant. Although there was less competition, the struggle to run a marketing company was immense.

We believe that every brand possesses a great reserve of potential and ambition, which when unleashed or eased into the right target audience, can make unprecedented success a norm. Our passion entails helping brands tap into that potential and journeying together to new heights.

His vision for the company went beyond the obvious, and blessed with divergent thinking he would create an opportunity for new businesses where there seemed to be none. It was this inspiration that led to the birth of new divisions. By 2003, the Wings Group was responsible for the employment of 4,500 staff and Mr Arun was awarded the prestigious Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award on 19 November 2003 in recognition of the fact that the welfare of these families was also dependent on the Wings Group. 

Today, Wings stands at 179 offices across India, USA, UK, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Singapore, Vietnam, and Bangladesh, supported by 7,000-plus employees. Mr Arun’s vision for the year 2025 is to take the company to 12 countries with 10,000 employees.

Mr Arun Samuel testifies to God’s goodness and truly the Word from the Bible that the stone that the builders rejected God chooses and makes a cornerstone. This truly is the story of Mr Arun Samuel of Wings.
