From establishing Siddeshwara Constructions in 2016 to shaping GK Construction & BIM Design in 2025, Vijeth K.’s entrepreneurial journey brings together practical engineering experience and a growing commitment to digital construction.
A building takes shape long before its foundations are laid. It begins with conversations, drawings, calculations and decisions that must eventually come together on site. For civil engineer and entrepreneur Vijeth K., understanding that journey has been central to his professional growth. With more than eleven years of experience, he is building a practice that connects the realities of construction with the precision and coordination offered by Building Information Modelling, widely known as BIM.

Born in Kadur taluk, Chikkamagaluru district, Vijeth grew up in a family rooted in education and everyday responsibility. His father, Kumarappa, was a high school teacher, while his mother was a homemaker. He has one older sister. These personal foundations form the quieter background to a career that has taken him from engineering studies to site execution and, eventually, business ownership.
His education took him to Mysuru, and he completed his civil engineering degree in 2014. After graduating, he moved into professional life in Bengaluru, where he worked for two years. That early period introduced him to the demands of construction delivery: interpreting drawings, coordinating with different teams and understanding how design decisions translate into physical spaces.

Today, his family includes his wife, Impana, and their son, Gaman. Alongside his professional responsibilities, these relationships form an important part of his personal story. His journey retains a strong connection to his beginnings in Kadur, where GK Construction & BIM Design is based.
In 2016, Vijeth established Siddeshwara Constructions, taking his first independent step as an entrepreneur. The decision brought a wider set of responsibilities. Alongside engineering and execution, he had to manage coordination, supervise teams and guide work through the practical stages of construction. Building a business meant taking ownership of how those different elements came together.

His work involved residential, commercial and infrastructure projects, with responsibilities extending across site management, drawing reviews, quantities, estimates and consultant coordination. He worked with architects and other professionals to understand design requirements, communicate revisions and implement changes on site. Quality, safety and the relationship between drawings and execution remained integral to these assignments.
This experience gave him a close view of the points at which projects require careful communication. Architectural intent must align with structural requirements; services must fit within the building; execution teams need clear, usable information. For Vijeth, these connections have become increasingly relevant to the direction of his business and his interest in digital coordination.

After completing a course in BIM design, he took the enterprise into a new phase. In 2025, Siddeshwara Constructions evolved into GK Construction & BIM Design, bringing his construction background together with an expanded focus on modelling and coordination. The transition marked a deliberate investment in developing the skills and services through which he could support projects.GK Construction and BIM Design Pvt Ltd is the first BIM company in Chikmagalur District.

Vijeth’s technical training includes Revit for architectural and structural modelling, Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination, and BIM 360 for collaboration and document management. AutoCAD remains part of his toolkit. Together, these capabilities support his move towards workflows in which teams can review, coordinate and communicate project information through digital models and drawings.

At GK Construction & BIM Design, the service portfolio spans BIM consultancy, construction and engineering. Its BIM offering includes architectural, structural and MEP modelling, coordination, clash detection, scan-to-BIM, shop drawings and quantity takeoffs. Construction simulation and cost estimation also feature within the company’s stated services, extending its focus from visual representation to planning and project information.

The construction offering includes residential, commercial and industrial buildings, turnkey projects, renovation and remodelling. Project management consultancy, site supervision and construction documentation add further points of support. Engineering services encompass building planning, structural design, estimation and costing, approval drawings, interior design, infrastructure design, layout planning and tender documentation.

The breadth of these services reflects the company’s intention to participate across different stages of a project. Its workflow begins with consultation and planning, progressing through BIM modelling, coordination and documentation to execution support. For prospective clients, an initial consultation provides an opportunity to discuss requirements and establish the scope of work before moving forward.

Underlying this business direction is Vijeth’s experience of construction as a collaborative undertaking. A project depends on the quality of its design and the clarity with which information moves between people. His strengths lie in communicating across site and design teams, reviewing details and adapting to digital construction technologies.
For Vijeth, the next chapter grows directly from the work that came before it. The enterprise he started in 2016 now carries a broader identity and an evolving technical focus. Through GK Construction & BIM Design, he is bringing his experience into a practice shaped around a clear ambition: better planning, coordinated design and informed execution.
