Manoah Mohan, 37, spent six years designing websites for consultants before introducing his CRM goods in 2019 through his company Skyislimit Technologies Inc. They now have 180 customers and 12,000 registered users, with monthly revenue of 23 lakhs. He is a Kerala native who was born, nurtured, and completed his education in Orrisa. He had gone over his roommates' books in Delhi because they were Software Engineers. He learned to build websites since he needed to support my family. Initially, most consultants hired me to design websites on a freelance basis. They were based in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Qatar. He then went on to study software development. After working as a freelancer for a few years, he founded a service-based organization, where we provided services to the Sultanate of Oman.
Skyislimit Technologies was founded in January of this year. Due to the epidemic, connectivity became a problem in 2020, prompting the development of their second product, Fokuz, a video conferencing platform. They are currently marketing a mix of two CRM programs, Salesfokuz and Fokuz, to their key clients. When Manoah started recruiting salespeople for his service company in 2015, he discovered that the daily sales report was a time-consuming process. He'd heard about Salesforce, the premier CRM in the United States, which some Indian companies were utilizing to improve their client relationships and automate sales reporting.
However, the expense of obtaining a license per user was prohibitively high. As a result, he and his team built Salesfokuz, a CRM solution. It is now used by the majority of the world's largest banks. Manoah and several of his NRI uncles put in roughly 4.5 crores at the beginning of this venture. In 2019, he traveled to California, United States, to accept an award for innovation from the US Chamber of Commerce. He had submitted a patent for Salesfokuz CRM at the time. That's when he began speaking with possible investors in the United States to secure additional funding.
The initial investment was made with the majority of his savings and earnings. He received a phone call from a seed investor in Dallas, Texas, after meeting with some promising inventors. Sonny Menon, one of their investors, committed $2 million to their firm in March 2020. They now have a head office in Mumbai, with 84 employees, including 70 developers working in Kochi, Kerala. They currently have 180 customers from India and the United States, as well as 12,000 licensed users. Each user's annual subscription costs between Rs 6500 and Rs 12000. Fokuz provides them with a monthly income of 14 lakhs. Their CRMS generates a joint monthly revenue of Rs 23 lakhs. The majority of the time, they sell their products as a package to their clients. SBI DFHI, CSB, DCB, and other banks are among their clients.
While they were in the United States, the pandemic was already in its early stages in China. They were using Zoom and Webex, a Google B2B video conferencing tool that is open source. As a result, we decided to create Fokuz, a video-conferencing program. Their prototype took two to three months to develop. Fokuz was launched in June 2020. We began offering our product as a white label solution, with customization as the major distinction from competing for video conferencing software. They began with a leading educational platform, combining our program with theirs for B2B video conferencing capabilities, which they lacked.
They are presently in discussions with several major banks about distributing our products to them. It will take place over the following four months and will result in the addition of around 20,000 more licensed users. They are also establishing a new office in Delhi.
