Dr. Shruthi was approached by us in the beginning of the month for this interview and ever since then, she has proactively been so kind and co-operative. Dr. Shruthi came in with a warm smile and sat across us with that signature pageant winner poise; As she settled she slowly started to indulge in our questions, in a casual way.

We asked how she manages fame, she says “I love being in the limelight and I use my platform to bring attention to important issues and causes. I am aware that women look up to me and I want to set a good example and create awareness on the importance of being financially independent”, We asked her “Talent, Luck and Hard work, rank them on their importance to become successful?” she adds “It so amazing that you ask me this question, I just was listening to Gaur Gopal Das and he is often seen saying Hard work beats Talent, I firmly believe in this, Hard work is more important than when compared to talent and after that it’s luck”, We asked to share an insight about how it was growing up in Hassan, Dr. Shruthi says “I was raised by strict parents, nothing came easy to me and my brother, we had to work towards what we want and I think that builds character” Dr. Shruthi then continues to talk about the importance of Education, “Education is important, because it gives us the much needed courage and confidence, I am the Managing Trustee in our family run school Royal Concord International and I will continue to promote education and stress on it’s importance every I go”.

We asked her the most important question, about her current projects, Dr. Shruthi suddenly gets passionate about this question and says “I have been told by many that I carry some sort of luck when it comes to Gold, because I have gotten an opportunity to be a part of the Jewelry Industry from a long time and inaugurated roughly about 20 jewelry brands and I thought to myself why not start start a jewelry brand of my own; A jewelry brand which is lightweight, elegant and affordable; Akanksha Jewelry is all about that and this thought came to me during the lockdown, Akanksha stands for Hope to me. I am planning to setup a strategy wherein part of the sales goes to a charity which is working towards educating girl child”

Dr. Shruthi is seen wearing her own brand, she is wearing a rose cut diamond earrings and van cleef bracelet design that compliments her ribbed bodycon dress, Akanksha Jewelry is an online jewelry store, it showcases light weight jewelry, Gold, Zircons and Diamonds being their main products.
