He also pursued a postgraduate degree in Counseling and studied International Religion. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to social service, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Europium Union University in 2012.

Dr P.K. Paul launched his own consultancy in Human Resource Management, Business Process Management, PR & Event Management in April 1998, dealing with all kinds of events, including launch events, promotional activities, and parties. It has evolved into a successful proprietary firm - M/s IDL GROUP, a well-known and reputed Event Management & Corporate Entertainment company in Bangalore with a prestigious clientele. Dr Paul was also a Brand & Media Strategist working for many startups and corporate houses. His success manifested from his motto, “We don’t just work, we deliver.”
