The HJS GROUP OF COMPANIES was launched in 1953 with the pioneering efforts of MR. Hajee Jaffer Shariff , who had previously traded in silk waste in his individual capacity. His son , Nisar Pasha being a chartered accountant by profession took over the business as the managing director and expanded the business which is managed by Ahmed Pasha since 1995. In the year 1977 , the diversification programme included the export of rough blocks to Japan and a few European countries. Owing to success in the venture , we own Premium Black granite quarries , since ,1975. The conglomerate is armed with over two decades of experience in quarrying and own quarries in various parts of South India and are pioneers in Black quarries. To measure up to increasing demand in international markets , expansion measures in 1985 saw stone cutting and polishing units being set-up in a factory in Madapura Village of Ramnagaram taluk, the factory being well equipped with Italian Technology. The manufacturing unit has a capacity of 60,000 sq.m
