Drums are widely regarded to exist right since the dawn of mankind. Music can speak and there’s no soul who cannot understand. Music, its a spiritual incoming, the moment those sound waves reach the eardrums, it heals, washes away the pain, brings joy, keeps you calm, lifts your spirit, offers an escape route to all your plight, and what not.

Drum Events India based in Bangalore is an emerging entertainment company, known for its  Power Packed musical performance with drums, founded by Dr. Shyam in the year 2011. Dr. Shyam was born in Kannur, Kerala, widely regarded as God’s own Country. Right since his childhood, Dr. Shyam was fascinated with drums and he used to play on chairs, tables, cups, glasses, plates, and every other thing which can be used as a drum, generating those exciting sounds. During his days in college, he was actively involved in a college band where he gained significant exposure for his talent and was greatly appreciated with awards for his skills as a percussionist.

For quite some time, Dr. Shyam lived a life where passion and profession were two different jobs but destiny had different plans for him. It was a dramatic day for Dr. Shyam, it was the Citi Bank’s annual day where he worked as an assistant manager in Dubai and a drums band was invited to perform for the event. A colleague of Dr. Shyaam who knew the talent of Dr. Shyam, suggested the drums band to share the stage with him. So, Dr. Shyam was called up on the stage and it was a performance to be remembered. The hall was left impressed with the drums skills of Dr. Shyaam, a ton of entertainment from one single person. Owing to the appreciation showered on Citi Banks’s Annual day, Dr. Shyam took drumming even more seriously. He become a part of the same band and performed in desert camps and various other places while learning the basics of felicitation and drum circle from the band.   

Two years later, Dr. Shyam went back to India for a vacation during which he decided to quit his job and follow his passion aggressively. He spent a year preparing his own module before establishing his company called Drum Events India in the year 2011. With a massive 350 Drum Artists, Drum Events India started scripting its success story by performing for a world-renowned company called Infosys, the musical event was a great success. The transformation from a normal employee to a master percussionist had just begun. Continuing its success journey, Dum Events India performed for most of the multi-national corporations (MNCs) such as Dell, HP, Microsoft, Google, Abb, and more.

Since the year 2019, Dr. Shyam was beginning to be known as a sound healer owing to his various successful treatments, bolstered by his years of meticulous research in sound healing therapy. With his sound therapy, Dr. Shyam has successfully treated numerous sicknesses such as hearing loss, migraines, sleep issues, and many other health complications.      

Today, Dr. Shyam is an acclaimed percussionist, sound healer, International Drum Circle Facilitator, and Tedx speaker. With his group members from Ghana and India, Drum Events India is a pioneer of Drum circle where a group of people plays hand drums and percussions in a circle, while constantly delivering entertainment with innovative rhythm-based shows. The drum events company has performed in more than 3000 shows in India that include IPL, ITl, Indo African Summit, Sunburn, and countries abroad such as Dubai, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Bali. Renowned personalities like George Bush, Barack Obama, and Queen Elizabeth have been spectators for Dr.Shyaam’s Drum Events India performance.

Future Prospects

In the coming months, Dr. Shyam is looking forward to establishing a centre for Healing and Lifestyle management in a serene location in Bangalore. Corporate engagement, entertainment, and adventure sports are some of the service offerings of the yet-to-be-established centre for Healing and Lifestyle management. Additionally, the centre will also offer its services in the development of communications skills for individuals, conducting Indian classical music classes, and more.  

  

Moreover, Dr. Shyam has strong intentions to start an academy for sound healing and music therapy in collaboration with a renowned university, very soon.
