Massive response for Minister Murugesh Nirani’s ‘Udyami Aagu, Udyoga Needu’ workshop at Bengaluru Palace

Bengaluru, October 11: The Karnataka Government’s effort to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youths received a solid response as more than ten thousand people including college students, graduates and budding entrepreneurs attended the daylong entrepreneurship workshop titled ‘Udyami Aagu, Udyoga Needu’ on Monday at Bengaluru Palace.

Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani who is instrumental in holding the workshop expressed happiness over huge participation. ‘I urge our educated youths to make use of the both central and state government schemes and the facilities including subsidies to start businesses. We are providing necessary guidance and assistance to budding entrepreneurs including Dalit entrepreneurs to excel in business. We want them to become entrepreneurs and provide jobs to others rather than job-seekers,’ Nirani said.




 Mentioning about the success stories of prominent business leaders in Karnataka, minister Nirani said only hard work can result in success. ‘There are examples of thousands of achievers who tasted success through their vision and hard work. Narayana Murthy and his wife Sudha Murthy achieved wouldn’t have started Infosys and provided jobs to 2 lakh engineers had they continued in their cushy jobs at TCS. Vijay Sankeshwar through his hard work turned his company as one of the biggest transport conglomerates in the world and provided jobs to thousands of people. They have become a source of inspiration for others,’ Nirani stated.




The Industries Minister said the government is making all the efforts to hold Global Investors Meet in November 2022 in a grand manner and aiming to create more than 10 lakh jobs.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai who inaugurated the daylong workshop praised Murugesh Nirani for his proactive steps to achieve progress in industrial sector. He said the government is working to make Karnataka no.1 investment destination in the world.

Former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa applauded Murugesh Nirani’s efforts for helping college students to become entrepreneurs by holding a workshop and thereby pushing economic growth.
