Kids International School: Where Knowledge Meets Strength

The world has witnessed tragedies – natural and man-made, that have impacted numerous individuals in all aspects. Businesses stop functioning, schools stop teaching – every activity gets halted to clear the rubble of disaster. However, complete recovery is a stage achieved by very few people, as the majority suffer the post-disaster repercussions with little to no consolation. A lack of funding also prevents parents from sending their kids to schools, and while this disturbing trend has been reduced to an extent, it still happens to thousands of people.

Countering the after-effects of disasters is a specialty of humans, as evidenced by Japan's post-WWII recovery after the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. Former US President John Fitzgerald Kennedy once said, "One person can make a difference, and everyone should try." In the modern era, we are seeing the rise of such contributors who are establishing a range of methods, from donation centers and NGOs to providing affordable or free education and other services to help those in need.

Sri Venkatesh Babu A. is an altruistic idealist whose focus is on providing affordable education with an international curriculum for children from lower-income families. He is the chairman of Sri KK Education Trust (R.), and along with his wife Soumya, the proprietor, he seized the perfect opportunity to fulfill his dream when they purchased a KIDZEE franchise. This provided an excellent platform for them to establish Kids International School in 2011.

Kids International School in 2012-13 was engaged in a war with local competitors, who were providing a tough time for the institution. Venkatesh Babu’s foresight and Sowmya’s guidance were the lead contributors towards maintaining the top position. Highlighting its uniqueness with a curriculum that forwarded the mental, physical, and overall growth of the child, the staff too worked tirelessly with dedication, improving each aspect of the establishment.  

Kids International was established to cater to each student as it follows the idea that kids learn uniquely. It follows the philosophy, ‘Education is the key to success in life, and teachers make a lasting impact in the lives of their students,’ which was preached by Solomon Ortiz, former US politician. It ensures the students go through practice-based training under the guidance of experts as young minds can understand, grasp, and master numerous skill sets to achieve a certain standard of life. These factors increased the initial year admission of 68 students to 158 students the following academic year.

The parents noticed the gradual improvement of their children under Kids International School, and they encouraged Venkatesh Babu and Soumya to extend the admission range to 10^th standard under the CBSE board in 2015-16. Kids International School has epitomized a new dimension that breaks away from lethargy and routine practice, facilitating the transformation of every student into a socially committed, professionally competent, and emotionally mature cosmopolitan citizen. State-of-the-art classrooms, a library with over 4000 books, workshops, and training sessions – these are some facilities implemented to ensure the transformation.

Kids International School believes in the dawn of a new era in the realms of progressive learning, and it’s ushering in that progressive era with excellent results. The last few years have witnessed Kids International School obtain 100% results in the CBSE board exams due to these elements. In addition, Soumya’s hard work, determination, and efficiency have been rewarded over the years with 16 accolades from Zee Learn Limited in Mumbai.

Kids International School plans to establish another branch in Nelamangala, so more students can attend and experience physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual growth in their lives. Both Venkatesh Babu and Sowmya KK are continually researching more ways with the Kids International School staff to add in interesting and helpful subjects for students to engage with and give them a firm foundation based upon an understanding of Indian culture, society, and ideas
