The Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI culminated in a dazzling display of sartorial splendour last night. The grand finale featured a much-anticipated collection by Rahul Mishra, while the preceding days witnessed a veritable who’s who of Bollywood grace the runway in exquisite designer creations. From Ananya Panday’s captivating presence to the fashionable ensembles worn by Aditya Roy Kapur and Janhvi Kapoor, the event was a celebration of fashion at its finest.

Let’s delve into the outfits donned by the Day 5 celebrity showstoppers.

Shehnaaz Gill walked for Diksha Khanna, showcasing her collection “Asymmetrical Precision,” inspired by the contrasting themes of bustling urban life and serene mountains. Gill donned a baggy, multi-denim jumpsuit paired with an oversized matching jacket featuring drawstring sleeve details.

Khanna described her collection: “Handwoven textiles whisper tales of distant mountains, while our signature distressed denim lends edgy sophistication. The cultural richness of Bhutanese monasteries is reimagined through delicate dome-shaped appliqué on urban hoodie jackets, perfect for a city day.”

Abhimanyu Dassani, actor and son of Bhagyashree, opened the show for Prreeti Jain Nainutia’s label ‘Nirmooha,’ while Aditi Rao Hydari closed the show in dazzling fashion. Nainutia’s “Ekatra” collection aimed to create the ideal summer wardrobe for globetrotting and vacations.

Madhuri Dixit Nene, Bollywood’s evergreen beauty, turned showstopper for Ranna Gill’s ‘Urban Prairie’ collection, seamlessly combining city chic and natural charm. The veteran actor donned a chic black floral pantsuit with matching platform heels.

Fashion label KALKI unveiled their ‘INARA’ collection on Day 5, featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur as showstoppers. Janhvi looked mesmerising in an oxblood-toned mermaid-style lehenga with intricate embroidery and a matching blouse. Aditya exuded dapper charm in a classic black suit with a shimmering long coat.

Closing the fashion week, Ananya Panday graced the runway for Rahul Mishra. Inspired by nature, his constant muse, and his eight-year-old daughter, the collection featured elements from the children’s story ‘The Fox and the Star’ woven into the fabric alongside other imaginative elements. Notably, he debuted his ready-to-wear label AFEW at the show. Panday wore a black mini dress adorned with leaf and floral appliqués.
