An incredible story of Mr. Karthik, a 27-year-old Civil Engineer and Theatre Film Artist from Mangalore who has become a role model for budding startup entrepreneurs.

Mr. Karthik was born to Mr. Y R Bajendra and Mrs. Saroja Bajendra and struggling was his partner till his success. He attended St. Anns School in Kuntikanna, Mangalore, and Mahesh Science College for his PUC, with science as his major subject. In Moodbidire, he studied Civil Engineering at SNM Polytechnic. Young Karthik's thoughts was drawn towards Concrete Business as he possessed all the traits associated with that business, at a period when his friends were looking for jobs following their successful completion of Civil Engineering. Karthik's love of voice acting in theatre and movies, and modeling was another one of his passions. He performed in a Tulu film and provided countless voiceovers for many films before starting his own company.

The truth is that heading out from his first career paved the way for Mr. Karthik to return to his roots in craftsmanship by specializing in Concrete Electric Poles. Having grown up in a family which has a concrete product manufacturing background, the chance to pursue his passion as a creative craftsman in his second career felt like “coming home.” That’s when Mr. Karthik turned to his parents for industry-leading training in both concrete electric pole manufacturing techniques and to launch a financially successful concrete product business.

Pursuing his inner chatter Mr. Karthik applied to KIADB in 2018 for a plot to launch his dream business. Mr. Karthik then established M/s. Raja Rajeshwari Concrete Products in the same year on 1 acre of KIADB allotted land.

The film industry persuaded Mr. Karthik to come back to work, saying “My business gave me the freedom to say ‘yes’ to Films in addition to concrete.”
