Sridhar Vembu, the CEO of software giant Zoho Corporation, is a billionaire but lives like an ordinary person in a village in Tamil Nadu. With a net worth of $3.75 billion in 2021, he emerged as the 55th richest person in the country.

 

Sridhar Vembu lives in Mathalamparai village near Tenkashi district in the foothills of the beautiful Western Ghats of southern Tamil Nadu. He is famous for taking the IT industry which was limited to urban areas to the villages. It has offices in Mathalamparai and Renigunta in Andhra Pradesh. He has also received 'Padma Shri' award in 2021 for his achievement.

 

Sridhar Vembu has a special love for the environment and loves electric vehicles. He had bought 'Tata Nexon EV' in 2022 for his daily use. Recently bought a brand new 'Montra' electric auto. Sharing photos on his 'X' account, he said, 'I am happy to have taken the new Montra electric auto. Its performance is very good'. Currently, this post of Sridhar Vembu has gone viral on social media and netizens are also expressing their appreciation. A user named Gauriprasad Mohanty said, 'Glad to see your interest in the new electric auto. But what I want to ask you is, are you glad you bought an e-auto? There is nothing about the same electric car' he asked.

 

Sridhar Vembu replied, 'I also posted about my Tata Nexon EV. I use it for long journeys. I will drive an e-auto within 10 km.' Shankar Rao, a netizen commented, 'Electric auto seems to be a good option for large estates and city traffic'.

 

Sridhar Vembu also responded to Nettiga Shankar Rao's comment, 'Electric auto is a good and safe alternative to a scooter or motorcycle. I consider it a family scooter. Can drive even in tight spaces. "Parking is easy and e-auto will get more demand," he said.

 

There are no clear details about which model of Montra electric auto the billionaire Sridhar Vembu bought. In the domestic market, this electric auto is priced between Rs.3.02 lakh to Rs.3.50 lakh ex-showroom. Its battery pack will be charged in just 4 hours, giving a range (mileage) of more than 160 kilometers. It will reach a maximum speed of 55 km per hour.
