Nandini rao Gujar’s significant work as a Carnatic classical vocalist and performances has brought her recognition and accolades throughout the country. For more than 20 years now, Nandini Rao Gujar is pursuing her research in different styles of devotional Music not just from South but from all over India. Television, live performances, Masters in Music, anchoring, accompanying for dance performance, composing song writing, teaching are few things that Nandini Rao has done so far. Nandini Rao Gujar is also known as Vidushi Nandini has discovered different aspects of related arts at a relatively young age. Her work was recognised by the Government of Karnataka by conferring the Prestigious Kempegowda Award. With her maiden solo concert at the age of 12, Nandini has given more than 800 concerts all over India and Abroad. She has given her voice for more than 100 Audio cd's. 


 

Nandini Rao Gujar is a Professor at FLAME School of Performing Arts and is also a Guest Faculty at Pune University. Nandini is the founder of 'Sound of Southern India', an Institute of Carnatic Classical Music in Pune, in which many students are trained in classical and other aspects of Carnatic music.

 

Nandini Rao Gujar was an Anchor at Zee Kannada Television and Suvarna Kannada Television Channel between the years 2005-201 0. She has even hosted  Spiritual and Musical shows like Kavya Dhaare, Dari Deepa, Vastu Deepa, Shubha  Suprabhata and Ayurdhama.

She is a Vocal support artist for many dance productions and Arangetrams for prominent Bharatanatyam Gurus including Sucheta Chapekar, Smitha Mahajan, Parimal Phadke and Priya Joshi. Gurus Smt. Nandini Rao Gujar’s achievements are many and versetile, To start with, Nandini is a AIR ‘B HIGH’ Grade artist of Devaranama, She has successfully given more than 800 performances all over India, United States and Canada. Sponsored by Gov. of Karnataka to perform at AKKA Sammelan NJ, USA (2010) Devotional singing in 12 languages including Sanskrit, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Gujarati, Rajasthani, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali, Tulu, Nepali. Composed tunes and written lyrics for numerous personal music productions. South Zone Finalist in Channel V pop stars from Bangalore. 



Nandini Rao Gujar has performance in “Srinivasa Kalyana Mahotsava” which happens in Pune, Virar, Goregaon Mumbai. Nandini Has performed in Pune Festival,  Mysore Dasara Festival, AKKA Sammelana, which happens in the USA and Image India which happens atEdmonton, Canada. Nandini has regularly performed  at Tirupati Bramhotsava, Vaibhavotsavam and Unjal Seva. Nandini has been an active performer at Mumbai’s Satyadhyana Vidyapeeta and She is even perfomed at Haridasa Habba which happens regualry at namma Bengaluru.

Recordings Sung for more than 50 devotional albums. These include Dasarapadas and Vachanas, many music albums on different theertha kshetras like Dharmasthala, Sravanabelagola, Kadur, Chandragutti besides albums for Jain and Christian devotionals. Solo albums "Murali Baariso Madhava" - Dasarapada. “Tandeyu Neene Tayiyu Neene” - Vachana. "Gopivilasa”- a duet devotional album. "Prarthana"- Hindi devotional album. “Brindavana”- Kannada Bhavageetha. 

 

Nandini Rao Gujar is the recipient of the Prestigious Kempegowda Award, Nandini also has secured herself the Prestigious Sangeethasri Award in the year 2010 and has even been awarded as the Young Achiever Award by the Lawyers association in the year 2008.
