Story of Sutek Systems and Gururaj Joshi

Gururaj Joshi is always seen telling Engineering  graduates that He used to travel from Gulbarga to Pune, Mumbai or Hyderabad in search of job opportunities, He went to Pune in search of a job after graduating in the field of Electronic and Instrumentation, after few years Gururaj Joshi came to Bangalore and started working in Messung Systems Pvt ltd  in the year 2000. Messung Systems specialized in PLC manufacturing, they manufactured Automation Instruments along with PLC. They were the only company distributing Mitsubishi Components and services of Japanese systems all across India.



In the year 2008-09 when the recession hit, most of the businesses were hit including Messung systems,it became difficult to do business on their terms and conditions due to financial crunch and during one such meeting with the Manager of a company Gururaj suggested that it will be difficult to carry out business under such circumstances, The Manager casually suggested Gururaj to open a company of his own to overcome such short falls, which stuck up with Gururaj Joshi and that led to the start of Sutek Systems in the next 2 months. He started the company in February 2009 on the auspicious day of  Rathasapthami, though it was difficult to find investments he approached his childhood friend Narasimha Murthy, who helped him by investing 2 lakh rupees. He became one of the directors along with Gururraj Joshi and Rajesh Belurkar.

Sutek systems is a channel partner for Mitsubishi Electric company i.e they are distributor and system Integrators. Industrial Automation is in programme logic controller PLC, server motors, VFDs, HMs, Robots (Robotic hand) are also included which they fix and programmers according to customer need. They also specialize in SKEDA.



Control panel manufacturing unit is in Peenya, where it is manufactured, assembled and programmed as per necessities. Industrial Automation is making any work automatic in layman terms. Many major Industries like Automotive, Pharmaceuticals , Textiles, Steel, Cement require automatic machines and they depend on automation for the work.



The Automation industry is growing by 12% CAGR, by 2023 has a projected growth rate of 33000 crore market size. Due to the pandemic situation there was a crunch in work, the need for Automation has increased due to shortage of labor, people have turned to robotic applications. The companies require industry 4.0 is complete automation and cloud monitoring i.e they can be accessed from anywhere. 

After the takeover of Messung company by Mitsubhishi, Sutek became channel partners for the company and since Gururaj Joshi had been working with Messung previously he had good knowledge of their products and in the last 12 years has not diversified to any other products. They are proud of their loyalty, They are ranked Number 3 in all over India and Number 1 in south India. They are Elite Platinum Channel partners for Mitsubishi with many trophies and certificates every year.



95% of business is with Mitsubhishi and their entire major product users of major Industries is automobile, steel, and pharmaceutical are their clients.
