The Exquisite IIB ‘Pride of Karnataka Awards 2024’

Icons of Indian Business recently hosted the vibrant and spirited ‘Pride of Karnataka Awards – 2024’ on the 20th of January, 2024. The grand KASSIA Auditorium was filled with joyous laughter and banter of the guests, who arrived to receive their deserved appreciation for contributing towards our country’s economic growth.Established over two years ago, Icons of Indian Business has been the brainchild of Srinivas Thimmegowda, who noticed the lack of recognition and appreciation meted out to small and middle-scale entrepreneurs. Being a man of entrepreneurship spirit, he has since been hosting these award shows as a way to honor these far-sighted revolutionaries. This program commenced at midday, with the MC Divya Alur welcoming the guests with gusto and enthusiasm. Her booming voice and clever wordplay hyped the audience’s senses, as they waited in anticipation for the program’s unfolding.

The ‘Lighting the Lamp’ ceremony was performed to push an auspicious start, as the chief guests lit each side of the huge lamp. The chief guests who blessed the stage with their presence were:

The event was an evening of captivating performances that left the audience in awe. The first performer was the esteemed singer, Praveen. His melodious voice and hypnotic performance had everyone humming along to the tunes of evergreen classics. The audience was mesmerized by his performance, and the host couldn't resist joining in for an energetic dual performance that had everyone tapping their feet. A solo saxophone performance was delivered smoothly and with a punch by Adolf Sherum, a musician proficient with 14 musical instruments.

 

But the performances didn't stop there. Next up was Manyata J, a young classical dancer who put on a breathtaking Bharatanatyam performance. Her graceful movements and precise footwork were awe-inspiring and left the audience in tears. She performed each step with such elegance and flow that very few professionals in that art form can match. The spectators were so moved by her performance that they responded with loud cheers and words of encouragement.

The award ceremony also blessed its guests with a fabulous and mouth-watering feast, consisting of a delicious amalgamation of North and South Indian Dishes, satisfying their hunger and soothing their fatigue. Each guest that had received the award were:
