Ltd is a food manufacturing and processing company in Bagalkot, Karnataka, whose products are turmeric powder, wheat flour, and pellets for cows, with plans to add chilli powder and other products. 

Its founders are siblings Ningappa and Basavaraj Pujari. The elder brother Ningappa completed his BBA degree and decided to start producing their products. His younger brother, Basavaraj had completed his M.Tech degree and was pursuing a government career by attempting to crack the UPSC exam. He even resided in Delhi for about a year to prepare, but unforeseen circumstances forced him to go back to his native place. He decided to join his brother’s business and together, they poured in an initial investment of 5-6 crore rupees, with a turnover of the same amount. They are expecting to earn another turnover of over 10 crore rupees by the next financial year.

Suyogpujari India Pvt. Ltd. initially began with only animal food and turmeric powder. Turmeric is a commonly cultivated plant in which its most active component, curcumin, is supplied widely for cosmetics and medicine. The outer layers that are less significant are crushed and turned into turmeric powder which is sold in markets. The founders state that such powders tend to be more yellow, while the powders formed from curcumin display an orange shade.

Suyogpujari India Pvt. Ltd. manufactures animal food with a mixture of corn, soya, and 15 other ingredients. It sells four variants of pellets namely Regular, Plus, Silver, and Gold with their key difference being the amount of protein in these products. It exports its products to six districts in Karnataka with franchisees in Dharwad, Belgaum, and Bijapur and is planning on selling throughout the state by year-end.

500-600 consumers purchase the products produced by the combined effort and perseverance of the 120 Suyogpujari employees. The added benefit of growing their raw material benefits the employees even more, as they can manufacture four tons of pellets and a ton of turmeric powder per hour without paying additional charges.

Every product is manufactured with the latest technology imported from Germany. The product goes through a quality check procedure before the sample pieces are sold in the market. The sales results are checked and the product goes through another round of checking before finalizing its mass production.
