A patient's health can be jeopardized by a lack of true medical guidance at the appropriate moment. Dr. Rohit Sharma created ZINI, a flagship product of Delhi-based GRAINPAD Pvt Ltd, to address these issues. The health tech business, which was founded in May 2017, is an AI-powered, voice-based virtual physician that gives medical advice and directs individuals to seek medical treatment as soon as possible. ZINI can close the gap in India's doctor-to-patient ratio. ZINI can also assist in the collection of structured data, which can aid research and policymakers in making data-driven decisions regarding their communities.

ZINI, which can be accessed via an app, allows users to 'speak to ZINI' about any medical symptom or health concern. The app can assess 950+ health symptoms and 300+ diseases, deliver a thorough report, prescribe a plan of action, and share details of nearby medical facilities that a patient may contact, all with an Alexa-like experience. Whenever a patient calls a doctor, the doctor normally tries to determine why the patient has a fever.ZINI is a virtual intelligence capable of automating the 'history taking' procedure. He describes it as a 'history-taking bot. As indicated in the diagram above, ZINI automates this phase by attempting to determine the most likely diagnosis and directing patients accordingly.

This technology is used in a variety of devices. ZINI the Android App, an OPD Management system, a medical API, and a 5-minute clinic system are just a few of them. The company offers both B2B and B2C services. Hospitals, where ZINI offers the following goods, are referred to as B2B.

Plug and Play' Medical API/SDK Service: ZINI may be simply integrated into a hospital's existing apps and website to provide patients with a 'Symptom Checker 'option.OPD Management System: Hospitals can also utilize ZINI to organize and data-driven information. Instead of sitting around waiting, patients can complete an 'Interview with ZINI' while they wait, and all of the information is then shown on the doctors' dashboard. Everything is displayed on the screen, from prescriptions to follow-ups. On the B2C side, the ZINI app can talk about symptoms and give patients hyper-personalized recommendations

ZINI, the healthcare AI, is a mobile app that allows people to communicate with ZINI about a variety of health conditions. It's a comprehensive virtual health manual. Corona Mukt Bharat - This app is used to assess the risk of COVID-19 infection depending on a user's symptoms. It also indicates nearby health clinics and testing centers. It's been updated with the most recent WHO and MOHFW data.

To begin, they give 100 free evaluations under the B2C business model. Following that, they provide a package for 300 evaluations every year for Rs 399 per month + GST. The hospital's requirements determine the nature of the B2B business. It depends on the technical requirements, whether the hospital is part of a chain or a single facility, the number of queries to be responded to, and whether the package is for a year or five years. COVID-19 risk evaluation API, Campus health assistant, corporate health assistant, 5-minute clinic/ZINI OPD, Medical coding simplification, and AI consulting and design services are among the startup's other products in the works, which it intends to introduce soon.

The global consumer healthcare market was valued at $3,32,391.42 million in 2020, according to Verified Market Research, and is expected to reach $6,65,372.71 million by 2028, rising at a CAGR of 8.56 percent from 2021 to 2028. The ZINI app is already used in 21 countries, and its B2B solutions are used by clients in four countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and India.

ZINI competes with companies like Yours.MD, Ada Health, and Infermedica, among others, on a global scale.

ZINI was chosen for the Startup Punjab startup grant award in August 2021. In March 2021, ZINI was awarded a grant of Rs 25 lakh from STPI's Startup India NGIS (Next Generation Incubation Scheme) (Software Technology Park of India). So far, the firm has received money from investors in the United States and the United Kingdom in two rounds.
